· Lent is fast approaching. Special thanks to Cheryll Brachle and Tanya Davis for agreeing to head up the sale of Koozies, which is the Confraternity’s biggest fundraiser. Please, please, please help if you are able to give some time to sell during the “Fridays” of Lent. It is fun and very rewarding!
· The Confraternity is hosting a Women’s Day of Reflection on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 10 AM to 2 PM. This will take place at the Holy Family Shrine on Interstate 80. Sr. Joan Houtekier, OSM will be our retreat leader. More details to follow as we continue to plan the day.
· As Holy Name Parish celebrates 100 years, the Confraternity has volunteered to help organize and plan the formal dinner that will coincide with the celebration weekend. The Confraternity Board and Officers are meeting next week to draft preliminary plans before committees are formed. More details will follow.
· January 29 is the date set for the Anointing of the Sick and the distribution of the Prayer Shawls. Keep working on those shawls, all you knitters and crocheters! Contact Mary Grode (402-553-8825) for more information.
